We are an NHS practice providing general medical services to residents in Hunts Cross, Woolton, Halewood, Speke and part of Hale Village. We were assessed as “Good” when visited by CQC in March 2019.
The practice was established in 1994 when Dr Forbes and Dr Schmidt took over Dr Antal’s branch surgery. We lived in portacabins for a while before moving into our purpose built health centre in 1998. We serve patients who reside in Hunts Cross, Woolton, Garston, Speke, Hale and Halewood. Since 1994 our list size has nearly trebled and continues to grow. We now have Three GP partners working here – Dr Deepak Gupta, Dr Stephen Donald and Dr Sujeeth Mangarai. We also have Dr Sarah Bicker, Dr Farah Burki and Dr James Young working with us as a salaried doctors.
All registered patients have been allocated an accountable GP. You can obtain the name of that GP by contacting the practice. We will also aim to advise you when you see a GP at the practice, when you order a prescription or when you visit reception. This does not affect your care in any way and, as always, you can see (subject to availability) the doctor of your choice.
